Individual Volunteering

Individual In-House Volunteers are essential to our mission. We rely on our volunteers to help keep the Ronald McDonald House a clean, warm and welcoming place for our families. Volunteer duties include cleaning, laundry, errands, preparing guest rooms, sorting donations, driving the shuttle van to/from the hospital, and helping with special events. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Shuttle van drivers must be at least 18 years of age.

**Due to COVID, temporary changes have been implemented. Please contact us for more information on how to get involved.

Provide a Meal

Providing a meal for our families is a great way to support them. Families appreciate hot meals following a long and stressful day at the hospital. Due to COVID-19 restriction we are unable to have Meal Groups in the House or Family Rooms. However, catered meals are acceptable as are gift cards to local restaurants.

Sponsor a Meal

Would you like to help, but can’t make it to the House? Consider a meal sponsorship. Your gift of $250 provides a delicious catered meal for families to enjoy. Our staff will take care of all the arrangements.

Group Services Project

Due to COVID-19 we are unable to have Service Groups at the House. Please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteercoordinator@rmhc-eiwi.org to learn more about our virtual volunteering opportunities.

Opportunities for Families/Groups with Children 13 or Younger

For groups with younger children, you are welcome to schedule a tour, create cards or artwork for families, collect pop tabs, or host a donation drive from our Wish List. We also invite families and school groups to volunteer at our various special events throughout the year.

Event Volunteering

We host several large events throughout the year that are a perfect opportunity for groups, families, or individuals to help out for a day. If you are interested in volunteering at one of our events, please visit our Events page.
